    A Registered BAS Agent in Australia is a qualified professional who can handle all your bookkeeping responsibilities with added expertise. They must meet strict qualifications set by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), adhere to Australian professional standards, complete regular training, and maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance. This insurance protects both the BAS Agent and their clients from liability for any errors or accidents that may occur during their work.

  • Your bookkeeper takes care of reconciling and recording all business transactions to ensure you:

    1) Maintain your record keeping obligations, and

    2) Use your figures to make informed decisions about your business finances.

    At Book Sense we will collect Bills from you and attach them to the transactions in your accounting software so that your business records are accurate and easy to follow (and avoid piles of receipts in your office or car).

  • As we begin our journey together, it's important for us to understand your unique needs and the scope of your business.

    During the first 2-3 months, we'll charge an hourly rate to ensure we provide the most accurate and tidy service tailored to you, you can expect to pay between $85-$120 per hour for this.

    Once we’ve gained a clear understanding and established a reliable system, we can then transition to a simple and predictable monthly fixed price.

  • If our outsourced bookkeeping services aren't in your budget right now, we can help you get up to speed with QuickBooks.

    We charge $135 per hour, for training.
